I am thrilled to invite you into the heart of my latest mystical landscape: “The Soul of a Tree.” This original painting is a deeply personal exploration of nature as a sentient, watchful protector. When I began this piece, I wanted to capture the “unseen” life of the forest – the energy and spirit that pulse beneath the bark and within the leaves.

The composition is centered around a magnificent tree of life, framed by a circular halo of protective eye motifs. These “eyes” are a recurring theme in my work, serving as talismans of guardianship and wisdom. To the right, a sister tree emerges, its canopy shaped like a radiant pink heart, reminding us that love is the true root of all creation.

A Landscape of Spirit and Texture
In the foreground, you will find graceful deer – or gazelles – resting among a lush carpet of red poppies and white daisies. In my culture, the deer is often a symbol of the soul’s search for the divine, and here they find peace under the watchful gaze of the forest. I’ve also tucked a golden Star of David into the landscape, grounding the piece in my heritage and spiritual journey.

Technical Artistry
I used a special technique to bring this vision to life. The canvas is rich with high-relief textures; you can feel the ridges of the branches and the delicate “dots” of the floral field. I’ve balanced a palette of ethereal, cool blues in the sky with the grounded, warm golds and crimsons of the earth. The use of metallic pigments ensures that as the light in your room shifts, the “Soul” of the tree seems to shimmer and wake up.
