In my latest work, “My Dreams about Chagall. The Kiss,” I sought to capture the entire universe that can exist within a single, intimate moment. This 32×37 inch canvas is my personal homage to the master of painted dreams, Marc Chagall, re-imagined through my own artistic language. I wanted to paint not just the image of a kiss, but the feeling of it – the weightlessness, the vibrant energy, and the sense that two souls are merging with the life force of the world around them. This painting is a testament to love as a force that defies gravity and creates its own joyful reality.

The composition is a swirl of life and color, enveloping the central figures in a protective, loving embrace. Their forms are intertwined with blossoming branches and flowing streams of energy, symbolizing how a deep connection nourishes us and allows us to grow. The color palette is intentionally emotional rather than naturalistic. I used rich blues and purples to evoke the spiritual and dreamlike atmosphere, while the fiery crimson of the central rose represents the undeniable heart of passion. Every hue is a note in a symphony dedicated to love’s power.
