The original diptych was auctioned at a charity event in Kyiv in September 2004. Proceeds were to fund the construction of a hotel for parents at the children’s hospital “Okhmatdyt”, which suffered damage from the brutal shelling of Kyiv. Now, this composition is available as prints on canvas, offering a touch of comfort, tranquility and peace to a world fraught with cruelty. It serves as a gentle reminder of the beauty and kindness that still exist amidst chaos.
